Mies van der Rohe, designer of this Lounge Sofa, is generally recognised as one of the founding fathers of Modernism, and the most purist of Modern architects. His work is characterised by a constructional clarity, free-flowing space and careful detailing, in accordance with his famous maxim “less is more.” Mies van der Rohe ranks as one of the most important twentieth-century designers based on his range of designs - from the functional simplicity of the cantilever chairs to the luxurious comfort of the Lounge Sofa.
The sturdy frame is made of ultra-premium #304 Stainless Steel polished to a mirror finish. Extra care went into assuring all welds and joints are completely smooth.
The Mies Sofa is a high quality reproduction using premium solid-core stainless flat steel, fully welded. Multiple colors and grades of premium full top grain Italian leather are available for your design requirements. Each square of leather is hand selected, piped, tufted and individually sewn by expert leather craftsmen.

LEATHER CARE
Leather furniture will need very little maintenance. In fact, regular dusting and wiping is enough. It's a good idea to use a moist cloth occasionally. If leather becomes soiled with grease, beer, wine, coffee or other household hazards, wipe immediately using a sponge or chamois with lukewarm water and a small amount of mild soap. Rub lightly in a circular motion, then gently wipe dry with a cloth.
